I guess we have to assume they wouldn't lie to us.

Since it's not at JV, I'm going to pass on this event.

              This event rocked!

:yay: showed up (late, haha) and we headed out to Lucerne Valley for some lunch. We probably got to the event about noon and saw our Rubicon buddies! (Hey Dan!) We also ran into the famous Robert Yates from Jeep BBS and Mike too. It was a pretty neato event - there were two rollovers that :shades: and I missed while we were going to get :yay: a water from his Jeep!

              SEE THE PHOTOS

              Oh yeah, and
This event IS at Johnson Valley!

that looks like a good time but, the truth is, i broke my darn drive shaft, and had to get it fixed. and it is time to take care of the "shim" problem, which i think contributed to the weakened shaft .
sorry i missed it, i really wanted to go to this thing. oh well... there's always next year.
                  GREAT PICS! bacon

i dont know if you remember, but i was having some trouble with my pinion angle. i had the 6* shims, which is what the sye suggested, and the last few runs, at flex, or under pressure of inclines, the drive shaft yoke was touching the rear end yoke. this weekened the ears on the driveshaft yoke. so, when i floored it to get across the intersection the driveshaft ear broke. i have it fixed now, and am up and running again. i'm just glad it didnt break the transfer case when it was slapping around down there
i just got finished with the shims today... i reduced them to the 4* shims. i think that will take care of the problem.
i also finally got the warn hub conversion in there with the heavy duty shafts .
