Calico April 9-10

Hey Socalchef!
I have a total of four people that are interested in hooking up on Saturday to run Calico. IS there a meeting time & place that has been established yet?

Chef-

The bypass is located where the road first curves off to the right. There are a few boulders near the entrance. The bypass drives around a twisty section of hill, then up along the top of the cliff, overlooking the valley youre camping in. It drops you back onto the trail immediately after Lower Doran. You can also park along up there and walk down to watch the action

Traffics gonna be a bugger leaving Anaheim around that time on Friday. Plan on spending over 3 hours on the road. Leave as early as possible, or leave late if you cant leave early.

So, I just want to make sure I will be ok on the run. I am open at both ends with 33's. It sounds like there will bo others like me. I just dont want to be the only one possibly holding people back.

PaulW and I are are planning on caravaning there; we should be there Sat. Morning.

TJSUPE You'll be just fine with out lockers. The only real obstacle that you won't be able to "attack" will be the entrance to Doran.

yeah i'm expecting traffic to suck, but, driving to and from la everyday for the past two weeks, i'm getting used to it. it's not too bad in the truck towing the jeep...just sit in the slow lane with the a/c on and the stereo up. i'll get there eventually took me about three hours to get to JV a couple weeks ago.

i might have to pick up casey from OCC at 5, see how that all works out...
