Kevin, I was just there the other day and had a blast. The dunes near the end of Razor road were larger and way more fun than I anticipated. Also, when you run Afton Canyon, check out Spooky Canyon. It's an AWESOME slot canyon right there on the north side of the canyon, just around the bend from the big trestle bridge. There is a small concrete bridge that marks the spot. Bring good shoes and bright flashlights, as it's just as dark as the mud caves in Anza. There's a few photos in this thread here: http://www.myjeeprocks.com/forums/sh...eccommendation

Any chance that we could squeeze in a side trip to the Desert Megaphone? It is not far from the campsite if you follow the old T&T RR path.

Sure, not sure what that is, but open to suggestions, Kevin

Im thinking of going to this one.
should I bring my street legal dirtbike too?
          never been there.
It's not what you have. it's what you do with what you have.

Absolutely! If you can handle sand with whatever tires its running then this is an awesome place to ride.

                        Check out this website: http://armchairtravelogue.blogspot.c...megaphone.html

It is about 7 miles from the campsite if you can follow the old T&T railroad bed, but it doesn't look too traveled (if at all) from the Google Earth satellite views.

The megaphone is pretty cool. A little hike up to it through some rocky terrain. Just one of those things you have to check out.
                            WILL WORK FOR JEEP PARTS!!!

What time are you guys hitting the trails tomorrow morning? I will be leaving Huntington in the morning so I will try to leave early enough to catch you. Otherwise I can try to reach you on CB or phone?
