Here is my small contribution in documenting the good times we had at Cougar Buttes.

We had a great time out there Mike and you were a great leader of the pack. We look forward to the next trip to Cougar Buttes.

Wow. Looks like an amazing day out there. Lori, that notch is scary. I'm not going to lie, the one time I ran it I was sucking some serious seat; good for you to get back in the saddle after saying Hello. Glad everyone had a good day; perhaps we'll make it out there again this summer.

Ya, that was a joy ride. I remember exactly when she started to lift up and then the next thing I knew, she was up in the air. With my current gearing, it's a fine line in between too slow and stall, to too fast and lift. New trail for me and still gathering my cash for my Atlas. I will get there.

Yulp. In time... Or just cheat and go buy a fully automatic limo. Best lesson the MJR crew taught me was to just let it stall if I was about to die... Something about that being safer.

LOL Nope! No auto for me..ever. Takes part of the challenge and fun out of it.

Plus, I've never driven anything but a stick since I was 14 years old. I'd constantly be air shifting..which is what I do at work when i have to do the mail run. An auto just isn't a good fit for me all the way around. But by all means, you enjoy your limo!!

So you actually committed, that's great! I'think that you'll appreciate it. Perfect for the Buttes.

Lorie next time we go wheeling together I will let you drive my jeep. It's a auto trans but it's manual shift. So it's like driving a stick without a clutch.

That just sounds weird. As soon as my refund hits my bank, I'm ordering my Atlas. Apparantly, there's an 8 week waiting list on it right now.

It's the 241 from a Rubicon. I hope I like it. My stock one isn't all that bad - with the auto trans that is.

Mikey I bet you'll like the 4:1 transfercase, now to keep it from crawling when you want to could be another matter.
