On the opening obsticle you can hit your roof if you're not careful, but otherwise it's pretty scratch free. I've run it several times w/o any damage.

My soft top has already been hit once or twice, duct tape seems to seal it back up

Wow. What an epic day! Nice work FJs! To the guy in the stock JK, well done! I have to say CB is a great place to cut your teeth with a stock Jeep, I'm glad I had some of these guys to lead me through the first few times. Now... What's this talk about Cakewalk/Hammerdown? I'm not sure I could do Hammer Down, but I know I could do Cakewalk, though I may bypass that notch at the start... I can already see the wife in a panic as the hardtop of our new Jeep is inches from that face... Depending on when it is I'm in; would be awesome to compare the rigs on a trail I've ran a couple times.

The 4door wasn't stock, he had a 3" long arm suspension (I think?) on there, but darn if it didn't surprise us all

We'll do the run sometime in January - not sure which Sat. HD dosen't have any bypasses and I'm sure there will be a few that won't want to run the trail, but we'll all fall in at the Cakewalk trailhead. No pressure if someone dosen't want to run HD. HD if fun to watch and is a very short trail on the way to CW.

I don't know Hammer Down looks pretty scary. Might have to take the bypass...

                    There is no bypass.

We have had JKU's through before.

I don't get up at 5:30 in the morning to bypass

I'm not! I want to run it, and I'm sure my rig is capable. I'm not sure that I'm capable with the new rig yet, nor capable of coming out unharmed... If this happens on a weekend we are there or can make it out... I'll probably give it a try, those that have wheeled with me know I'm dumb enough to try anything once. Twice if it was fun.

Well Thank you. It has a 3.5" long arm suspension but close enough. Just bought some rock sliders. Once they get here and I install them I will come out and play again. Took a little damage last time. I was always told to use protection

Nice. What lift is on it? And what sliders did you get? I'm thinking of having Rat fab up some for us (once the wife is one board).

Get those 37's on there and the rocks won't be bothering you anymore. You'll love Cakewalk.
