I'm sorry that I can't make it this weekend. But if you plan to run Yellowjacket, I suggest that you bring machetes and/or lopping shears to trim some of the brush. In a few spots, the brush is so thick that you can hardly find the trail.
If you don't like the way I drive, stay out of the bushes!

Red Rock (Nightmare Gulch/Last Chance Canyon) would also be good places to see what your Jeep can do. You'd be surprised ! When we went to Big Bear, one of friends has a stock Rubi. Has 31" tires, open diffs, and a 2" lift. He did Everything we did (John Bull, Dishpan, Holcomb and more)- no damage at all. You just need to get out there and hit the trails/rocks. You don't know how bad *** your Jeep really is. I'm rolling with a 2.5 L and I do it all ! You can easily do it!
Oh....the 'Dirty Little Girl' is good to go; FO SHO!!! LOL! Jacque and I acutally blasted the front right axle last year during the night run at the High Sierra Poker Run. It was an AWESOME time, but we have since decided not to go seek out the big stuff!

      HOOYAH!!!

Funny you should say that...a friend and I ran that trail a little over a month ago and did exactly just that..Macheted it so we could get through. And, we've been maintaining that trail together. Have ran it 2 more times since then....

*I think we have too many rigs to run it saturday...not enough room for everybody at the end to turn around...

Puleeezzzz. I've taken 13 rigs back there and we had plenty of room. You have to employ creative parking techniques.

Will definitely be interesting, that's for sure...but I know where there's a will, there's always a way. And it really is a pretty trail..got some lushy greenery and we've run into wildlife on it..

Hope you didn't run into that wildlife too hard...
I've fished the creek back there for trout several times. There are some beauties in there. Seen toads, frogs, snakes (my fav) and bob cats. And the occasional Navy aridale

This Navy Airdale has played around with a few Horny Toads and a wolverine..some snakes (not my fav) and that creek is so refreshing. Makes me want to get a tire- tube and go floatin downstream..

Count us in (the Misses and I)! Have had Miller/Lockwood on the list of "to-do trails". This weekend should be an excellent day out on the trail.

                          Rat Patrol,

Saw that you're joing the trail run and from "Guadalahabra" too. Meet and caravan to Flying J?
