Trail Report: Swansea Road to the Salt Tram

I had a call and invite from my friend Brian (ECV Jeep) to join a pre-run trip to the Salt Tram and Cerro Gordo for a upcoming Clampers event. So I called Mike (deepwater) to see if he would like to bring the big yellow Rubicon out to play for a couple of days. Mike and I met Brian and crew Friday am to check out this awesome historical trail.

Mike,

Honestly the shelf road section coming into Cerro Gordo didn't bother me. The steep mile long downhill was kept my attention though. And by the way, Mike had downloaded your track and GPS info and it was very accurate including the start of the downhill. That picture will be on my next post Cerro Gordo.
