Sounds super fun, whats the length of the trail? I'd have to leave the house at like 3 AM....

Everyone will have fun on this run! Doug leads a fun trip thru this area. Watch the section that goes along the edge of (Sometimes not so dry) Harper Dry Lake. I followed Roger's son Steve a little to close and got this slimy surprise!

Mat, Tiffany, Carleigh and myself left Peggy Sue's at 8:45am. We took I-15 and Hwy 58 to Hinkley, and then took Hinkley Rd North to Fossil Bed Rd. We took Fossil Bed Rd to Black Canyon Rd. North on Black Canyon Road into Black Canyon and the Black Mountain Rock Art District.

We made our way up Black Canyon to Inscription Canyon where we parked the Jeeps and walked up Inscription Canyon.

All my Inscription Canyon pics can be seen at:

After our tour of Inscription Canyon we turned around and headed South back through Black Canyon. Once out of the canyon we headed East on Fossil Bed Rd all the way to Rainbow Basin.

All my Rainbow Basin pics can be seen at:

We were back at camp at 3pm.

Another fabulous adventure in the desert!
