  • Trail Report: Playing in the Mud, Snow, Rain and Sun

I had a call from Roger asking if I would join him and his son Jeff on a little putt around the desert on Saturday. It snowed really nice on the trip to Lucerne and stopped and cleared as I pulled into the Valero Station to meet them. We had no plans so we headed out to Camp Rock Road and aired down. The weather went from Sunny to snowing to rain and mud and back to snow again. We explored trails and canyons that we had always seemed to skip ion prior trips. We also hit a couple of the normal spots so Jeff could see the sights. All in all an absolutely beautiful day! Thanks Roger and Jeff for the call.

    Mitch,
We saw you guys out there from the top of Jacoby

The desert was AWSOME yesterday. If we would have had a little more daylight to play with we would gone to Cougar Buttes. Did you run into any deep snow accumulations anywhere?

My Son Jeff is on leave from the Air Force so he came to California to spend so time with his mom down in Belmont Shores and time with me also. It's been a great visit! I called Mitch to see if he wanted to go with us as my son loves to get out and go exploring.
      Here's some photos we took:

Hey Mitch, Thanks for hanging out with us today! It's always a great time hangin' with the great88!
I saw on my son's facebook page that he spent 6 hours Jeeping and now wants a Jeep again!
