T-Day in DV 2010

Ginger and I just wanted to say thanks again for letting us tag along.

Our original plan was to head out through Steel Pass but after a ranger advised against it and a minor mechanical problem the day before we decided going solo might not be smart.

So thanks again to the entire group it was nice meeting everyone and traveling with you all.

Heh! I think I need a jeep now!!! I have been looking for a Sami to tow, but!! hmmm maybe an older TJ?

Glad you made it to your destination. It was good to meet you and Ginger, nad your Van is bad ass! i want one. I'd trade you my Jeep but then I'd have nothing to tow!

I would like to say thanks for a great time! I met some new friends ( Doug and his Wife, Louise, Roger and Chris with the cool Sportsmobile) and got to hang out with.... well you know the usual suspects. Thanks to everyone for pitching in and putting up with my trailer issues I really appreciated it. The best parts is we got to spend time with each other during a great holiday Thanksgiving and I am truly thankful for having great friends.

Looks like uber fun. Never had a deep fried turkey. I understand it is quite tasty. You have to be careful walking on that salt. Heard it eats up your shoes. Great pics. The trailer has been laid to rest by now correct? LOL.

Seeing your pics puts DV on my "need to do soon list"...You mentioned tow vehicles; did you just leave them at first nights campsite?

Yes. We set up a camp and then left the truck and trailer there.
