Thanks guys for an awesome weekend. My ass got kicked on those trails but I made it. Didn't take to many pics but we did get some video that I will get downloaded soon.

As for the winch line I got to say it was user error that I will take responsibility for. My rear yoke skid was dug in to a rock and I did not notice it. Never should have winch forward. Should have been pulled back off the rock.

Looking forward to the next time.

Another great weekend at the Hammers. Every one's junk held together, the weather was about perfect and the carne asada and rib eye steak was killer (thanks Kurt).

Art, get your rig together, the season's starting.

When we got back to camp on Saturday we were met by a couple of Toyota guy's needing some help getting off Jackhammer. One rig needed a fuel pump so we pulled him off the trail and onto flat ground where his buddies could tow him to camp. The other rig had an exploded Birfield that we couldn't remove and the rig wouldn't steer. He needed a slide hammer which we didn't have. Also his steering arm had sheared off two of the four bolts and the other two weren't much better. Trying to tow him from where he was at would have torn his rig up, so he elected to get the right tools and fix it on the trail.

As usual, I'm already looking forward to the next trip.
