well, we DID IT! brian [blktj], al [igofshn], and myself [nailer341] were invited on a trail run to the infamous "hammers". for those of you not familiar with the trails out at johnson valley california.. these trails are some of the most difficult in the country.
we were guided through for the most part by blaine, who has played in this area for quite some time. we did the sledge hammer trail, which is concidered middle of the road as far as the jv trails go. for me... this was by far the most difficult trail i have ever run! FANTASTIC
well the 3 of us "newbies" worked our way through this monster of a trail with ZERO body damage, and ZERO broken parts. i'm sure this is largely due to the expert spotting we received from the others in the group that had run this trail before. it seemed everyones jeeps were working well on this trail. i am very happy with the new springs i put on before this run. ythis was their maiden voyage.
i think they were broken in with just this one trail
