Is that your ZJ in the post for the GT tire swap? If so I don't think you'll have any problems on the Dispan Springs trail.

Totally agree. That rig will breeze right through

Just recently I traded the mud tires out for more street friendly shoes. Yea thats my girl. Sittin on allterrains now. Its good to now that I should be able to run dishpan. Mr.Bash posted some killer back country spots to just chill and fish or take a dip. This is the reason I wanted a 4x to get to places like this and relax and have lunch with family.

I would say that all terrains are a better tire for the cougar buttes area. You don't need the self cleaning properties of a mud tire. A soft all terrain tire will get your farther. Lockers will help you though.

by design all terrain tires have harder tread compounds than mud tires. sure for straight rocks tread pattern is not all that important but mud terrains have softer compound which will make them perform better.

Back from the Sierras with no breaks (except trailer tires) so I'll be there for this.

There are two "V" notches over there. We do the normal one, but I think Art does the insane one.

By the looks of that its right at the start of Bullfrog you go straight instead of turning left on Bullfrog

By the way that is a pretty awesome looking XJ
