I'm putting a trip together here for the Holcomb Creek Trail for April 17th .

No, I'm not sure it's open. Do you have any idea who to contact to find out?? I would think it would be open by then.....but ya never know!! If not I guess I'll have to point the jeep towards the desert for another month or so!!

i think that's the area the burned bad, right there by green valley. i really doubt any of those burn area will be open for at least a year or two. at least that's what happened in the past.

holcomb is a pretty difficult trail, if you've never been there i wouldn't recommend starting out there.

Ya know me! I like tuff trails!! Well I guess I'll have to look into it. I'll find out from the USFS if its open

CALL BIG BEAR CHAIMBER OF COMMERCE. THEY'LL KNOW. ABOUT A MONTH AGO I CALLED ON THAT ONE, AND IT WAS CLOSED DUE TO FIRE DAMAGE AT THAT TIME.... I'M BETTING IT IS STILL CLOSED.

Thanks Eric! yeah,I guess there is still a few spots that have burnned badly. Well there is still plenty of other places to wheel......now just to pick one of them!!

I was up there right after X mas and it was open and again about a month after. I called the forest dept when we did the second run and they said all the trails around big bear are open. I know dish pan springs is closed due to fire dammage but as far as I know Holcomb is open and has always been open
