As long as you can work any where before the 15/91fwy and 210/605fwy the drive isn't bad.

I just looked on the MLS. There is a few houses for $69-$99k. The $99k one was 3yrs old!

I commute from Huntington Beach to downtown L.A., 35 miles one way. I ride a bike so it usually takes about 35-40 mins........

Thank everyone for the input, might be having new neighbors.........

Hey John quit teasing us! You'd get tired of going out every weekend, Jeeping and just having fun. I'm sure you'd hate it. Of course we'd love it. It was great seeing both of you.

            New Years in JV

Mitch, thanks for putting this together. What a great day. Good company, great trails and killer weather and most importantly we did finally find Randy and Carmen.
I think we made the Ripleys book on most plugs in a tire. We decided to name her Medusa after the fun

              Joe,

It was great meeting you Friday. Glad you enjoyed the run and we hope to see you again. We are out here every weekend of the year. 16 plugs might not be a record, but close!

Roger, Copy? Mitch, Copy? MJR Group, You there? Anyone out there?

...hey, it was great finally running into you guys... albeit, at the end of the day...

Here are a few shots Carmen captured going thru Box Canyon...

Carmen and I had a great time exploring and seeing things and places that were completely new to us... We came across some gypsy commune... It was kind of cool and bizarre and "Deliverance" like all in one... We were kind of hoping that David Koresh would come out for a photo op... but no such luck...

Here are a few of our photos we took from a hillside across from the compound...

We took more pictures of the place... we could hear them talking... and we did see some pretty cool toys scatter from the area... The most bizarre thing was seeing the champagne bottles lining the roads going in to the place...

Does anyone have any info on what this compound is? Someone at a camp near us related some stories about these people having staked claim to this land some years and refuse to leave... Some others said they were just gypsy's....

Catch you guys on the next run... and we will meet you at the Valero!
                  Regards,
                  Randy

Yea, the crazy thing about that place was the activity... People live in those trailers! There were people bussling all over the place throughout the little hang out.

Randy do you copy? How about it Randy? Randy?

The place you saw looks kinda weird, but it's not as scary as the place I saw that had the fresh Bear's head stuck on a 4x4 at the front gate. It just kinda says keep out!
