  • Trail Run: Easy trail run this Saturday?

Anyone want to do Jacoby trail or Devils pond (forget the name). Or mine tour? Mitch (Great88)? Scott (DezertDog)? Roger (Roger)? Anyone?

Let me know. I am up for it. Got the bug to go out. I am not experienced enough to lead, so need someone who can

What you think about duplicating this run:

        http://www.myjeeprocks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=12506

It's not on the desert side of the forest and it would be cooler. It's easy with just one teeny itsy-bitsy pucker factor-lite spot where its a little off-camber on a shelf road.

If Mitch chimes in for Saturday I'll withdraw this suggestion!

Yes, no problem, but it really isn't that bad.

I thought I posted a map of the run, but I didn't see it, so I guess I didn't. If I can find it at home, I'll try to post it.

                    Hey George!

I just threw it out there. Someone pick a time/place and let's roll with it.

Roger, where is it? Meaning is Valero gas station a good spot to meet? Are we meeting for breakfast or meet there at 9am?

                          Trails

Looking at the map some of the trails Curtis mentioned to Roger do not connect. What type of terrian are you intrested in running? I ran Gold Mt. and John Bull a few weeks ago and Rattle Snake canyon a few weeks before that. Have run the trails on the South side of the lake but it has been awhile. Not sure of where to pick up some of the routes off of Clarks Grade. I have a a good GPS unit but it doesn't list the trails by number. I have map source by Garmin as well as Topo US also by Garmin.

Rattle snake Canyon is good. Not John bull. Wife and kids are coming. The one Roger mentioned is good or Jacoby Canyon is good too. More trails less rock

Id like to go to this. What time and where are we meeting? I am helping Sean(2bl2drs) pick up some parts in rancho cucamonga on Saturday. So if we are already up that way we might as well do a run. It will be my first run with the hard top.
