      Ron,

Take it on a run before you change anything else. Those only benifit you if you flexing your suspension to it's max! Like on trails with sections of 2 foot rocks. Just drive it first and let everything else settle in.

      Sorry my .02

It's all good. Thanks for the input. I was liking the factor of the additional 1 1/4" lift I do agree. I will take it out for a run before adding. I have the jack (thread started) I am installing now and finishing up the compressor still. I have a few things to finish before I look into it.

The last few times I've been it's getting a lot more rutted out and the rocks have turned into small boulders. I have drug bottom the last few times through there!

Ron, the 50 yard area coming up out of Devils Hole is rated a Black Diamond but, it is very doable with a spotter if it's your first time. Like Mitch said this is the only hard part and the rest of the trail leading out is steep but smooth. Personally, I have gone to Devils Hole alone (Single Jeep) and not had any problems coming up out of there but, Mitch is right you should not try this section by your self unless you are confident that your Jeep will get you out of there! There have been several times I have had to spot people out that have gotten high centered on those rock and I've even had to be spotted myself once or twice too!.

If anyone wants to go let me know and I'll show you the way! I love this place!

*****On a side note! I was really pissed when I got down there yesterday! I spent the first hour cleaning up everyone else's :poop::poop::poop:! Everything from a camp fire that someone had left to MRE's, Beer bottles and trash. We carted out a bag full of crap! People who have no regard for others piss me off!:mad::mad:!
The 1'st time I was there the rock garden was alot rougher and fun.Maybe that was what kept the A-holes out,to bad they filled it in.When we were there the Ranger told us that camping and fires were not aloud at all there, just day tripping. Thanks bunch for all your work,I to love that spot.

Its as much fun getting dirty as it is being dirty in a Jeep!

We love going to Devil's Hole! Beautiful spot! It is even more beautiful if you walk up or down stream a little ways...

As far as the Black Diamond rating... I have been all the way through there in my F250 4X4 without any problems...
            Regards,

              Randy,

When I talked to Scott today, he said that the bottom section was all chewed up and rocky. Proply has been getting a lot of weekend traffic with the hot weather. I bet that narrow trail was fun in your F250. I'll see you and Carmen on saturday.
