But thanks to Scott for setting this up (wish the wife came along, she woulda liked it. Sorry Lesa).

I had a great time, Since I had an open seat shoulda brought my dog. She woulda liked it too! (nice and cool!)

I will try to make this one every year if it continues. That trail is very enjoyable at night.

Met some new folks as well as some known folks. Great bunch of people! Always a good time wheelin' with
Scott & family & Mitch. Can't go wrong there...
Sorry Ron couldn't make it. This run was taylor made for him (at this point) Hope he's feelin' better.
All that, "Makin' a long story short" must be takin' it's toll on him! LOL!:bonk::hide::oops:

Hope to see all of you on the trails in the future,
    Scott

"Makin' a long story short" I guess I need a new sentence for the month :bonk::hide:

      Scott,

Great trip! You da Man! LeAnne & I had a great time!

I'm always impressed with Mitch's knowledge of the planets and stars and he gave a short talk on the visible planets. I asked about Uranus and he was a little miffed and said he was sitting on it and we didn't need to know anything about it. What? What did I say??? Oh well....

It was great to see such a good turnout and thanks for letting us run behind you. LeAnne appreciated not having to eat so much dust.

So I'm heading home and doing about 50 MPH (speed limit is 40 MPH) through downtown Lucerne Valley. No traffic, just one pair of headlights approching me. Turns out to be a CHP Officer....
So he lights up and hits his brakes and makes a u-turn! I assumed he wanted to meet and greet me so I pulled right over. To make a long story short, he did not write me for the 10 over, he was looking for drunk drivers. I'm perfectly okay with that. He cut me loose and reminded me of the speed limit.

          Roger,

50 mph in Lucerne in your CJ? I thought most of Lucerne was flat, must be a down hill section out there! LOL... I'm sure you realized how lucky you were having LeAnne next to you, you remember the Randy Newman song....Driving down Ventura Blvd, ......Redhead at my side. You are a lucky Man. Glad everyone made it home safely.

After running our fire roads today we decided to run Jacoby canyon and its actually a very pretty area.
Looks like it will be a lot of fun when it has some snow on it.
We roamed allover the east side of Big bear today and had a ball we even ran into Greg Hofman doing his Job.
I am glad you all had a wonderfull time
            Thanks Art,

It was a blast! Glad you liked Jacoby, It's one of my favorite trails!

Dixie, Jeanie & I really enjoyed this run. We always have sooo much fun with the MJR group !! Scott, thanks for putting it together. Yesterday I did it up and then back down again cause my daughter & grandson were here from Tucson. They liked it too. Really big trees and lots to see.

                  Mary,

I'm glad that had fun on the night run. Isn't interesting how different a trail is going one direction, then coming back from the opposite direction, and then run it at night. It's like 3 different trails.
