My pleasure! And thanks to everyone else too. We also took one video of the rock garden after the Big Sluice leading into Rubicon Springs ... the video doesn't do it justice because Jaclynn, my co-pilot was working hard to keep it steady But you can still get a sense of what it's like:

Note- just so there is no misunderstanding...

Spider Lake is closed to vehicular travel. You may hike in and swim or camp, but you cannot be more then 25' off the center of the trail, or you will be subject to a fine.

It is your responsibility to know where the trail is and to remain on it.

Gerald takes on Little Sluice - part 1

A few years ago, a rockfall blocked Little Sluice. since that time, only the most intrepid four wheelers have attempted it. Here are some pictures of Gerald's (provologear) TJ in Little Sluice:

Nik (NikVallens) rode shotgun and gives a thumbs up:

Erik (Nailer341) watches as Tam (JeepGal) takes a picture and Chris (Dukes69) spots:

        Gerald imitating Dirtman13:

A little help from Erik (Nailer341) got Gerald's rig back on its feet:

Gerald takes on Little Sluice - part 2

After getting Gerald upright, Erik and Chris use his winch cable as a spotting line:

Gerald got stuck behind a huge rock and had to put his winch to use:

          Success!!!

          The carnage:

            Russ,

Those came out nice. I wish I could have cleaned the LS maybe next month. I'm going to try a different line to the left of where I got stuck next time.

It was fun having you and Johnson around.

Great pics guys. Been meaning to make this year after year but it's always work, family, or broken jeeps stopping me. Maybe next year.
