I was out at Glamis for the long weekend--- back now and starting to get ready for our SledgeHammer run!
I didnt post any 'requirements' because I am generally a "no Rules" kinda guy! I know that Sledge has been run on 33s before, but I dont recommend it from what I have seen. It just depends on how hard you want to work, and also how experienced you are, or how "adventurous" you are!LOL
I am trying to decide whether I am going to run my 37s or my 38s. I like the 38s better, but when they stuff real hard, they rub a bit. And they are harder to turn in the tight spots. But they give me more clearance which I will really need with the long WB of the 4dr. Any thoughts?
As far as requirements go- Probably shouldnt be taking a 4 dr up there, BUT... my plan is to winch, strap, push, drag--- whatever I need to do to make it. I am bound and determined!
I just installed Chromo front shafts for this run (I exploded one stock shaft on BullFrog 2 weeks ago). I hope the weather will be good--- plan to take the top and doors off too to lighten up the rig a bit.
I am going to concentrate on SledgeHammer on Sat as this is my main goal. But we will def do some wheelin on Sunday too if our junk runs. I would like to do some exploring and at least take a look at the other trails out there so I will know where they are. It would be nice if someone that knows all the trails shows up.

Okay, I know most all the trails in the Hammers are hard, but are they ranked? Is there one that is a good stepping stone into insanity? I've not run Rubicon and the recent photos of Isham Canyon were pretty intimidating. I'm a decent driver, but still kinda new with it, and it's my wife's Jeep and she likes it the origional shape :-)Off road adventure photography:
