    Josh,

The Superior Super 35 kit that I bought was about $600.00 over a year ago. The Superior is supposed to be stronger than the Alloy USA shafts but the Alloy USA is the same price for a pair instead of just 1 side. I'm the newby with this kind of thing. It is a 1988 YJ with 30 Spline OX Locker and a good 30 Spline Superior Chromo axle on The passenger side.

yeah was a dumb reply on my part. the alloy rubi shafts are 299 for the pair. I didnt think about the other axle combo's. Sorry disregard my replies from now on.

I thought the Super 35 shafts have a 5 yr warranty. Why are you having to pay for a new one?

          Justin,

Max asked the same thing. If I can find a receipt and remember where I got it from I'll call Monday morning.

          Thanks

              Tony,

The trail was much softer after the snow and is getting chewed up on the rock approaches, and then I got stuck in one of those Hairy Cracks.

Not having the Jeep for a few days and some repair bills might help to get my butt out and actually look for a job. I've been unemployed since Oct 11th. Three months of Jeeping all the time and just playing around might have to come to an end.

Thanks Max for the invite, and everyone for the great time!! Nice weather, a challenging trail and an awsome BBQ, it just doesn't get any better!

It was a pleasure meeting new jeepers and visiting with friends I have not see in a while. Max really had a great day planned out, he needs to be awarded a medal! Make plans to try the "Hairy Crack", it's a "Hammer" trail, just closer for us locals!

let's do it again!! Thanks, Gene

After putting the great88 on the over head lift, I noticed that both lower rear shock mounts are hammered! One cracked and one bent badly. I assume that Max did this also when he blew up my rear axle! (Haaaa...) So I'll have Ken (thejeepguyonline.com) use the Currie Chomolly lower mounts that I have and weld them flat and level with the axle and buy the M.O.R.E. upper shock relocators. I need to take easy for a while till I get back working, cause this is starting to cost me some bucks. So maybe next weekend? It's an addiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to thank those of you who questioned the axle warrenty issue. I went to "Toys for Trucks" in Hesperia where I had a lot of my original work done. As I was talking to my regular salesman Mark, James the owner said Hey those axles should be under warrenty. I explained about not having the receipt and he said no problem. So I payed $30.00 for the bearing and seal, and the axle will be here Tuesday AM. I will buy a back up set of rears to have on hand once I get back to work. So good news at last.
