Debris in tire bead = 2 (Jason, Max7) Fixed with BFH and a Karate kick.
Broken rear pinion yoke = 1 replaced with spare parts.(59Bisquik)

Damn! I missed the carnage asada! Thats just as well, I found another crack in a weld on the drivers side LCA rear. I guess I've found the limits to what the factory junk will handle. Time to upgrade!
Glad you guys had fun; that trail is always a blast.
    Nice pics Max!

You were missed, I think this would have been up your notch... I'll be sending my rear DS to Tom Woods tomorrow. Glad you found that crack!

              Steve,
If you want a bigger lift, go to the store man! That looks cool, but not very practical... Too much fun there!

Sounds like a great run guys. I love night runs. Wish I could have been there. Max, you always seem to get the shots of the carnage. Your probably the most helpful on the trail but I swear you always show up with your camera first.
                Check out .

                  Pumpkineater Rocks!

Wow Jesse! That was an awesome run. I hope that your daughter wants you to take her Jeeping again soon.

The run started out from the Lenwood Road area around 6:30pm and took dirt trails up and over some steep, narrow ridges:

There were some great desert views including a very nice sunset:

With the sunlight fading fast, we were only able to get a few pics. Once we crossed over Stoddard Wells Road, we started climbing a great, steep ridge:

And several of us took a crazy off-camber line for extra credit:

Where we had a bit of a scare from our tailgunner, Jason:

But it was minor, a strap gave the extra traction to get back on line:

Unfortunately, we lost light quickly after that. We made it to a staircase ledge that most everyone gave a try. We had to do a bit of stacking in some cases and a strap at least once. Eventually, everyone that tried it made it.

After climbing up a high ridge with a tough obstacle at the beginning of it, we made our way down to the beginning of the Pumpkineater Trail. I don't remember the exact time, but it was probably around 9 or 9:30pm.

We had 12 rigs and they ranged in types of lifts and accessories. But every one of them made it up the first fall! This was a major effort by many of the folks on the run. Lots of spotting, rock moving and winching got every one up the fall. I didn't catch the name of the guy that positioned himself as the winch Jeep, but thank you very much for helping people up.

I know that several rigs made it up without assistance, but the only ones that I know for sure were Jesse, Maxwell, and myself.

It took a lot of time to get the leaders to the top of the trail after that point. Barney1 was up front after the first fall. He was the only one that we were able to get to the top before we all decided that it was just too late ... err, early in the AM, to continue. We got everyone over to the downhill return trail and headed back to the pavement.

It was a great trail run. I really want to go back to finish the trail. I got Mr. Green about halfway to the top before I popped out to the escape trail to go up to the top in case Barney1 needed a winch point. He did need a winch point, but he found one without using my Jeep.

For Sharon and I, it was a looong day since we started by doing a AAT maintenance run that morning. We left the house at 6:30am and we got home at 4:30am. Tired, but still buzzing from the adventure!

All our pics can be seen at this link:

Now I drink for evil.....

Well we made it home in one piece and under our own power. A special thanks to all of the guys who gave a helping hand! We had a great time and look forward to doing it again!

Hey guys, I had a most excellent time through the night and morning of this run.
I was the winch guy and the Warn 9.5ti sure got a work out. After the help I needed to go up the waterfall, I was glad to help others. After the run when 59Bisquik passed me in Victorville, I headed east to watch the sunrise before I got home. Again, thanks to Jesse and the "trail crew".
