It's been a while back now. The damage was minor considering. The right front fender was crushed, the brush guard saved the grill and hood, and the windshield frame and top had to be replaced. Once uprighted, the Jeep cranked right up and I handed the keys to the wife and she finished the trail.

As for what I did wrong, I was moving too fast on a bad line with no spotter. I was clutching and braking when I should have been slowly crawling down hill, I didn't plan my path and I should have walked the trail first. Like I said, pretty much everything that you can possibly do wrong.

Been doing my best to keep at least most of the tires on the ground since then.

thanks. now that you point it out, it now looks familiar. it's real steep. i tried it but couldn't make it up. i didn't know what else to expect on the rest of the trail so i ended up not running it...

The rest of the trail is much easier, that one climb has a good bypass. I scaled it last sunday with the help of my winch the last part is way dug up had no problem with it in may but this time around I just rolled out the cable hooked it to the convinient wood barrier at the top and tugged er over the hole. It's to steep to do a lot of horsing around and tumble down the hill
