Anybody hear about this

I was there this last weekend. It's south of S22, in what I think is actually Ocotillo Wells OHV area. It's in the middle of a camping area which is very busy. It was surrounded with campers, mostly quad riders,UTV riders, Buggys and 4X4's.

They had already placed some large tractor tires in a climbing area, and large rocks were being set up for a rock crawl area.

It looks like it will be fun for 4X4's but maybe not welcome by dirtbike/quad riders? It has been well used by them for it's hillclimbs, but maybe they won't be able to ride there anymore?

It may be called "Truckhaven Hills" training area, but it is not in the area known as truckhaven hills which is a small way North of S22.

Need Helpers For Training Area

Hi All,
This week we could use some volunteer help on site at our 4x4 training
course project. Thursday and Friday we need able bodied bodies to help
prep area before we pour concrete next week.
Also need any old chain link fencing you may have stashed or know of
someone who does. We can pick up if necessary.
Anybody interested in camping on site Saturday and possibly Sunday?
State Parks can't leave expensive equipment on site over the weekend due
to potential vandalism. Currently their low boy hauler is out of service
and they must pay a contractor to haul equipment to Hwy 78 yard. This is
adding $'s to an already expensive project.So possibly a on site RV is
going to be needed this weekend.

Also, George, I noticed the phone booth is no longer on telephone booth hill. Vandalized?
