I hear that a fire on Pendleton is starting to really act up as well...
They're doin' better. I've been keeping up on the SD fires. Here's some links:

I'm just outside of the evacuation zone of the "Rice Canyon" fire and about 5-7 miles away from the fire itself. It's slowed down so I'm not worried.
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

Our thoughts and prayers go to everyone affected by the fires. What a mess. My kids are staying with us, they live in between Carlsbad and Del Mar the Witch fire was heading their way and the fire captain said "the only thing that is going to stop this fire is the ocean" and they were on their way.
          God bless us all

Thanks Bob, yeah were still keepin on...

Well looks like the count is up to 4 houses on my street that have been lost. I think my GF's house is going to be fine now (that fire is 70%) contained.

The fire by my house is still only 15% contained.

As for my firends, there are 3 so far that lost their homes. The total count of lost homes is up to over 300 now.

Looks like its turning for the better but were still not out of the clear.

              Thanks for your thoughts guys.

                Allen,
Good and bad news. I've been following the fires and it looks like they might lay down this weekend if the weatherman is right. Keep the fingers crossed. Anything you need? Let me know .

Driving up the 15 this weekend through Fallbrook it was amazing to see exactly what was described. Everything burned, but structures everywhere untouched! Amazing work! God bless the heroes we call firefighters!

Well last thursday was the first time we were let back, i didnt get to see too much because by the time i got up to my house it was around 10pm or so. But from what my Mom said, the fireline was probably 20-25ft from the back of our house. All the food in the fridge went bad (it was pretty gross). But over all the firefighters did a great job and most things are safe. Thanks again for all your concerns guys I truly appreciate it.
