Just got the September Issue of Petersen's!

Just got my Subscription in the mail today. Open it up, and lo and behold there on page 36 is my first feature article! the one I wrote on the Devils Canyon run. Very cool!! one thing I did notice is that Rick somehow messed up the last two picture captions. IE caption number3 is supposed to go with picture number 4 and caption 4 with picture 3 on page 28.

other than that and the fact that Nora is gonna kill me for the picture of her driving the TJ on its side, I'm thrilled with the article

I'll go out and get a copy of that one.......I was hoping to make it out with you guys on that run, but the jeep was still under repair from the last run through Devils Canyon.....never had my junk in a magazine before, maybe some day......

I don't know much about the magzine business, but to have your first free-lance article make it in as a feature?! Very Cool!

I havent been able to find the Sept edition for sale yet, but I did sign up for a subscrition Hopefully they will send me one.

Scott thanks for posting it up. We went to 4 bookstores looking for a september issue but none had it. We were so bummed until I got home and checked this post. Fun article, even funner for those of use that are featured in it. I'll be buying a few of these mags I think so I can pass it around the family. Thanks for linking to the jeep club. I'm sure it'll bring in some new members. Thanks again. It was fun.

Matt, I know man, I'm stoked. I'm glad Rick used the picture of you he did. its a great shot.

Steve, The issue should hit newstands next week i beleive. Only reason I got mine already is because I subscribe and the subscriptions usually go out a week or so early. I too will be buying a few copies to send to family back east. As for the club link, my pleasure. I need to join up myself one of these days.
