Two days ago diesel was up to 2.89. Not sure what unleaded is, but I'm sure I won't like the price when I need to fill up the jeep again in another month or two.
olllllllo <--- If you can read that, roll me over!

Price is soon forgotton, quality is not.

Just saw on the news that crude hit $75 a bbl today, and I remember also seeing a report a couple of weeks ago that oil companies are hitting a 29% profit margin. I wonder if Advance Adaptors makes plates that I could use to bolt in a Harley motor...

                      advantage

On the base we usually receive fuel at a little bit of a discount as we don't pay any of the taxes imposed out in town... but even here it's about $2.85 - $2.95 for 89 oct.

HA! HA! HEE, HEE!!!!! I know you're right though, its only a matter of time. I think soon we'll all be riding motorcycles to work or Moped's. But, I'd have to go with a motorcycle 1st......there is just something wrong with going 20 mph on a Moped. I LIKE THE SPEED!!!!! especially if you're throwing dirt while you drive. :-)

You do pay taxes on your gas on the base. it is not exempt from any of the state or federal taxes.
