90 miles per hour at 3k rpm doesnt seem quite right.
and your odometer doesnt seem to work either.

did you (finally) regear? if not, you'd actually be going faster than indicated

Can't remember if the "Sarah" edition is running a 32RH or the AX-15 tranny, but assuming it is the auto.

              R&P 3.07
              tire 33"
              MPH 90
              3d speed ratio 1.0

should result in a tach RPM of 2813. This assumes however that the speedo has been corrected after going to 33's instead of the OEM rolling stock.

Also, you shouldn't be operating your cameraphone when driving 90mph

I reckoned as much . The Missus and I want to see the new rig.

BTW, if still looking for an inexpensive 3.5" lift, I was talking to Jeff and he said he had an old set of OEM V8 ZJ front springs lying around his garage. Those in the front and the OEM TJ fronts swapped into the rear makes for a nice cheap hillbilly 2.5" lift. Keep the spacers and a 1" BL and you are ready for the 35's...except for the gears, lockers, axles, CV driveshaft, shocks and relocators, brakes, blah blah blah

PS. hillbilly in this context means frugal and clever

yup, i've got the auto, it's got the same speedo gear as it had when it was stock, and now it has 33's and 3.73's in the back and 3.07's in the front -- and everyone wonders why i don't take this thing wheelin!! LOL

and if that speedometer is right, then everyone on the 215 during rush hour was going 90 too, and we all know that's a crock! i have to take the GPS out tomorrow and find out what speed i'm REALLY going ... before i get a ticket!

mmmm, hillbilly! rick is my personal mechanic, i just work here! LOL but it sounds like a good idea to me, definitely going for the "frugal" these days.

the camera phone is quite easy to operate while driving, just touch one button and snap! but i did make sure i had proper following distance for the car in front of me when attempting this task. (uploading the pic on the fly to the web is a whole different story! HA!)

I like to call him Erika . . . I think he likes it!

BTW, the speedo gear I have in my Jeep now is the one you need (when you get the 3.73's in there) all you have to do is find the one I need!
