Hmm, if you lift that thing, I'd be interested in taking the front springs off of your hands.

well... to start... a couple of the tires are looking a little bald, so new tires, and maybe a budget boost to fit a little bigger ones (since it needs tires anyway, right?)

erin doesn't particularly like the wheels, so maybe some baja/mickey thompson classic-type alloys. she'd like to get a TJ sometime down the road, so we probably won't do a whole heck of a lot to this one.

thanks for the kinds words! i can't describe how excited and proud i am of her for graduating... i know I couldn't do it

man this sucks- i heard from the dealer/seller yesterday ( i was scheduled to pick it up today). apparently the ZJ is 'grey market' i.e.: it was imported from Canada. It hasn't yet been registered in CA, so when they went to get the smog check for the title transfer, they were told it couldn't meet smog requirements for CA, and can't be titled here I kind of feel bad for the seller, since they're stuck with a car they can't sell in CA (carfax says it went from canada to washington, then was sold at auction). they're trying to find something comparable or a little newer/nicer for the same price.

                              so the search continues...
