  • Jeep Liberty shows its colors

This is a genuine photo taken on the 210 East while stuck in traffic. I did not touch it up at all except to crop it and spraypaint the tags (to protect the identity of the driver).

The license plate reads, "It's a Jeep Thing, you wouldn't understand."

Without a doubt, the KJ is one Jeep Thing that I'll never understand.

I'm willing to bet there are some socks floating around in the back of that thing.

Sorry, I don't agree. IFS is a superior suspension system compared to a strait axle in almost any enviroment, with the exception of low speed off road use. They do a much better job of transferring energy to the frame than a strait axle (great for the dunes), offer superior cornering ability, can carry a heavier load, smoother ride, they are much easier to tune, they are surprizingly strong.

I wouldn't want a strait axle on a vehicle that isn't going to see many off road trails. Unfortunately, they put the jeep name on the KJ. Lets face it, they never intended that to be a off road vehicle. And that is gay.
