The news has done a good job with this Gallup poll this week to help the government's position that half of us are either happy with the taxes we pay or should pay more. I would assume that of the 49%, the vast majority of the 43% who don't pay taxes are the happy ones. Remember, one of the first things you learn about polling, is that you probably want to know what the outcome is before the poll, that way you can ask the question the way you want the result to be.

Polls aren't free, nor unbiased. I full heartedly agree with your comments Rich. The CBS Article was spot on. The NY Times article was irresponsible.
The phenomenon reminds me of this documentary being released soon.
