    Sorry to hear that Tam...I had to do the same w/ my 13 year-old black lab this past August. Still miss him, but it does get a little easier with time.

        I'm sorry for your loss Tam.It's like a part of you you cant get back.Lost my lab,Josh,15 yr ago.He was 16 and I still remember the times we had wheeling.Good memorys to you and your's .

          Sorry to here about that Tam,

          I too had to do that a few months ago with my German Sheppard. Sheila was about 14 and within 3 days she got to the point where she couldn't even stand. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do and it broke my heart!! She was part of the family and we miss her everyday, so I know just what your going through! We did find a great little Yellow Lab Pup so, that our other Sheppard wouldn't be lonely. They are best friends now and he is a great addition to our family!
