        Starvin Student,

You won't be taxed on your company's gross income. Net income after expenses is what is taxed. A good accountant should be able to help your family business. The key has always been to show as little net income as possible. An accountant can help you with that and be legal.

Change has to start somewhere... hehehe, and yes my front yard counts!

Our third party candidates only have a chance when we vote for them! If we continue to vote for the 2 major candidates, it won't matter who wins, it will be more of the same old stuff... and if you really think there is a difference there between Mc/Bama, we need to have a talk

Sarah, where have you been all my life?
But truthfully, what she is saying is 100 percent correct. All the 2 party system will ever do is rehash what they have ever done. They do not need change as the entire money funding systems they have created are based on how it is today. What we need is a system that is not funded by huge business and political trust. but is answering to the people. Voting for a 3rd party candidate is the only way that change will happen. Voting for one of the same old 2 will only get us further in dept. They predict next years deficit to be over 1 trillion. And Obamacomic wants to enact programs that would cost over 5 trillion more. He claims to be able to tax the rich. Problem is the rich will only raise prices and we the people will end up paying out of our arses again.
                  Figure out this
28 percent taken out of your paycheck
14 percent taken from the guy hiring you(you think he pays those fees and taxes? think again
8 percent sales tax and Arnold wants it to be 10.5
property taxes, excise taxes specialty taxes like on tires and liquor, the list just keeps going on,
we pay close to 60 % taxes on our money and the government wants more?
hey, lay off a few useless administrators, kill a few useless programs, make it work fare not welfare and see if we can't compete with the world
as long as we keep taxing ourselves (foreign aide) so foreign governments do not have to tax their business, how in the sam *$^% can we compete with world labor?
But then, I only minored in economics in college, who am I to tell a Law major with a minor in Budweiser how to run our economy. After all if he was a good enough lawyer to make a living why would he be running for office?

Talking about the taxing the rich thing reminds me of this anecdote:

Originally posted by All over the internet

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for dinner and the bill for all ten comes to $100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
                    The fifth would pay $1.
                    The sixth would pay $3.
                    The seventh would pay $7.
                    The eighth would pay $12.
                    The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men ate dinner in the restaurant every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.

"Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily meal by $20." Dinner for the ten now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected.

They would still eat for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to eat their meal.

So, the restaurant owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.

                    And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% savings).
The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to eat for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

"I only got a dollar out of the $20," declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man," but he got $10!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than me!"

"That's true!!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night the tenth man didn't show up for dinner, so the nine sat down and ate without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. There are a lot of good restaurants in Europe.
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

we wonder why it takes 8 dollars of taxes to get 1 dollar to our class rooms
But then, let us look at how government sees it.

30 years ago, when I was just getting out of school they started to create buying departments

before this if they needed 30 new history books, the secretary would call around for best price and they would get them, out of their annual budget, But someone thought we could get the books cheaper if we bought for all schools in the district at the same time.
So we gave 1 person that job, now he needed a secretary, and a office, and a receptionist, but the job was to big for 1 person so we added another, who wanted to know who was in charge, him or the other guy. Seeing how each of them were hired to research and buy, we needed a person to head the department, big position and that means a private secretary. Now we need a department, not a single office to put them in so we rent them space somewhere, seeing how it is now a department, it needs a accountant and department head. And who is collecting the data of how many books are needed, now we need 2 guys to visit the schools, meet with the principles and evaluate weather the request were prudent and reasonable. Add cost for laptops, desk computers and office supplies and we now have a 1 million dollar a year department that saves us 200 dollars in book purchases each school in the district, Plus we have to add a warehouse for the books and a truck and employee to distribute them, plus his boss and the secretary and receptionist at the warehouse.
So they see how well the department runs, never seeing if it is effective in saving money, only knowing they save 1 dollar per book purchased, and decide we can save more money by setting up departments to by supplies for the janitors. And so on.
so soon we have 5 to 6 million dollars being spent to save 100 thousand dollars overall by group buying. We actually hired people to do a job that was being done nicely by a secretary or janitor, or coach, and never decreased their pay as they are now doing less, and made administrative cost shoot through the roof for a return that will never pay off.
Once you get a job in Government you never seem to get fired, so if we have tax cuts, the job of purchasing would never get cut, we would simply deny the purchase of the new books (or what ever) and keep the guys in the purchasing departments employed as they did a great job of saving the money by not buying the books.
Now let me ask you this, CA is re figuring our budget as I type this. Do you think if we had to cut school budgets, that they would cut administration, or bitch that we are taking money from the kids.
Under our current system, If we add money we give over 80 percent to administration but if we cut we cut 100% from the classroom.
And we keep voting these guys in?

                                guys, this is a rant

                                no better, no worse

but I had to reply and I went off

so here goes the rant as originally written unedited for your viewing plesure

Actually, we ran against Obama and MCCain
this year, got quite a few write ins pledged. But seeing there is no way to find out how many you got we will never know. My choice for VP says we need to strip the website and start out over fresh, next time we might get enough votes to get noticed.
                                Our platform
                                tariff foreign imports
                                eliminate foreign aid
                                make welfare workfare
Make tax write offs for drug companies Illegal ( when I explain the amount of money drug companies spend to advertise to you or doctors, you would see why we could bring our prices to those of other countries if we did)
Make government accountable to the people, ( go over programs and administrations by accountants to cut the waste.
You see, we have forgot how to save money, we borrow because our government does. We need to learn basic economic skills. Like our forefathers did. Then we could outproduce the world again. Our tax base is killing us, and if we cut the fat. made departments accountable, we could run this country in a money making way.

Did you know that SSI has never had it's own bank account, that it goes into the general fund. And that if we had started from the beginning to put the money in a simple interest savings account, that we could have stopped collecting SSI in the 70s, and it would still today be so far ahead of what is needed to pay out, we would never have to collect it again.

You see, our government breeds more government by the inefficient way we run ours. We do not look for a profit, we look to create programs. If we asked for a positive return, a accounting, all the money spent would recreate itself in either jobs or wealth. Giving away money never has done anyone any good. But great programs such as building the Hoover dam and creating jobs for the day and wealth of energy for the future, now have been twisted into being about supporting unwed mothers who breed more unwed mothers. Giving them money does nothing, giving them a job creates wealth.

But I regress. I am here to wheel, not discuss why we have a economy based on a 43% financial section. I mean you can only borrow money so long before you have to declare bankruptcy. Our economy is there right now because we have allowed a 2 party system to fight for power and not govern the people.
They have lied to us, they have cheated us, they are stealing the future from our children. They are bigger criminals than the history of mankind has ever seen.

I went into the Chrysler dealer this morning to drop off the wifes JK for service, At 8:15 I was the second customer there. the entire dealership was almost deserted and the mechanics were sitting in the service writers office waiting for work.
I spoke with them for a few minutes and learned that the dealership is talking about closing after the first of the year.
This is a strong dealer who has a great reputation
I also learned Shaffer had closed last week.
Now as I drove off, I looked I went to see a friend of mine at the Toyota dealer in the service department. He was not in a good mood as he was decideing which 8 people to cut. (word had come down from the top to lay guys off)
I was actually shocked. Is the auto business, one of the last surviving major manufacturing businesses we have here in America, really as close to going broke as the news claims? Both visits confirmed YES.
they predict 3200 dealers to close in the next year.
And how will this effect our economy. It will be one of the last nails in the coffin.

Government saw all the signs of this coming, but never reacted, they allowed the borrowing to grow on false mortgage values because it made their administrations look good. they figured the bust would happen on some one elses watch. But the end has come for the financial boom and it is now a bust.

Our futures are in the hands of a new administration that believes that by taxing the rich we can come out of this, congress believes if we put together another economic stimulus act we can jump start the economy. Neither one realizes the basis of economy is Value,
Tax the rich for what, the other peoples money?
where will the congress get the money for the stimulus? They will borrow it.
Isn't borrowing how we got into this mess in the long run?
I mean lets get down to basics here, Value for money.
We see what happens when we bail out companies, they give millions in bonuses to the ceo's, who run the money so why not. It is like " hey we just did not go broke and we have 60 billion we did not have yesterday, lets give 2 billion to the executives, they did such a good job of keeping us from going broke."
F&%* those B*%@@^%*@. Bring them up on charges, they are stealing your tax money and spending half a million on going to a spa.

AND THE 2 PARTY SYSTEM IS ALLOWING THEM TO DO SUCH BECAUSE THEY ARE WHO FUNDS THE 2 PARTY SYSTEM.

If you have finished reading this rant, you understand why I believe every person in the U.S.A. needs to decide what they want. Because they way we voted this month only shows we want more of the same.

I thank everyone who read this, even if you think I am nuts for saying it.

those who did not, you probably got better use of your time than to worry about my opinion. After all I am not in charge. so what does it matter ehat I say?
                                censored for having an opinion
