Do we really need more reasons not to vote for Boxer or Feinstein?

      Joe,

Don't get me started!!! Ha If anyone needs more reasons to get rid of Feinstein or Boxer let me know. Also we are faced again with the lesser of two evils on the presidential race. I've seen some that are pumped up with being able to write in a vote for Ron Paul. I think he would be a fine choice if he had backing, a party behind him, and even a slight chance of winning, but a vote for Ron will dilute the real race. Obama and McCain don't care about anything but winning, so showing them that there are some that voted for Ron Paul out of principle will mean nothing. If Obama wins we are screwed as a country and as a people who want to strive to do better in our lives. If Obama finds out how much surplus money we spend (waste) on our Jeeps, he'll take it and give some to the less fortunate just to even out things! God help us!

      Sorry, just my opinion.

      Mitch

Boxer isn't up for re election until 2010. Feinstein is 2012. In California we need to focus on the house races.

          That would be the point

And blktj is right, you need to pay attention to your district races. Especially those in district 41, Jerry Lewis' neck of the woods. (Get him outta there!! )

Yes... perhaps I should have been more clear... these are people I believe you should vote for if you're in their respective districts based on the bailout, and other issues I believe in... I'm in 49, and Darrell Issa has my vote. Other SD people are in 52.

You really dont think that our votes for the President counts for anything.

Its the Electoral vote which we control other than the President. That time has pasted and I dont see any help come next week.

                    My 2 cents

So correct, a way they control the outcome
what we really need to do, is vote out every encumbant there is. only let people serve one term
Face it, the only real job politician has is to get reelected, without that he has no job. So he does whatever special interest tell him to do so he gets their money to run for reelection.
                      and how important is money?
the message is nothing to the American people, it is how much you can repeat that message.
watch the presidential election next week, Obama is a money making machine, and will out pace McCain on the basis that he can afford so much air time. I mean he is pushing a socialistic agenda. Yet no one in America actually listens, they just get caught up in the media blitz.
And any candidate that actually could help this country, you know those who are in those little small parties because their ideas are to true for the 2 party system to control our nation, cannot raise the money of the 2 party system as big money does not want the word out. Seems big money rules and unless you work for big money, then they keep you down with their heels.

The next step is campaign reform. If we can get special interests out of the campaign finance business maybe we can get our government back.

I'm guessing the citizens of this country are going to have to find a way to get a campaign finance reform bill on the ballot since I doubt any politician will cut off their own cash cow. Not sure how we go about that though...
