His finger and arm did get sore and he's not feelimg 100%. I saw the 2 holes in his finger so he did get bit.
I sold my Scout. I got involved with the Antique truck guys and started restoring an old Peterbilt. Now with $5 a gallon fuel it's been parked.

I met a girl and she likes to go out exploring in the Jeep so I got back into that a little bit. Hothing too hard core with a stock TJ Though. Last night in Odessa canyon was pretty gnarley in a stocker LOL

Glad your friends O.K. We have Timber Rattlers on this side of the country(only had one run in with one in 43 years). If he had bought a Jeep the theif wouldn't have gotten stuck and you would not have had this adventure! Good thing the helicopter was available to get the theif to safety...

Yaaaaa, I gotta agree with Roger on that one. But ill bet your a good friend of his. At any rate good thing he is ok. Every summer I get a nice surprise or two with snakes relative to what I do (exterminator) for a living. Last summer I opened a rodent bait box just to find a live rattler in it and then a few weeks later walked up on one on a customers property.
