I've heard that those are good (for the price, the specs look damn good). They recently received FCC approval (FCC ID:WVTWOUXUN04). I believe Scott is thinking about buying one of these soon too.
Make sure you get the "KG-UVD1P" if you want DTMF. Besides the letter P, that's the only noticeable difference between the KG-UVD1 and the KG-UVD1P. If you use eBay, be careful, it looks like a lot of auctions say KG-UVD1P in the title, then are actually for "original KG-UVD1 radio".If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

yeah thats typical of what i saw too. thats crazy to buy a 18 year old radio for just a little less then a brand new fancy radio. i ended up just buying new. the price hurts me but geez its almost a good investment cause radios are depreshiating slower then the dollar.KB1UTG (keep being one ultimate tough guy)
