  • Color of RE CA's?

I am going to repaint and clean up some RE Control Arms I purchased. Do you know the color of their CA's. Is it just a normal grey. Anyone do this before? I did a search and couldnt find anything. I will probably go get them color matched at Home depot, but thought I would chime in first.

    Any thoughts.

    Thanks,
    Supe

I just painted mine black when they were new, but I like the sleeper look.

I always though of them as a dull silver color more than gray but that could just be metal flakes in the powder coating.

Ya... I just wanted to touch them up a bit since they are new to me. I think I can find a close enought color over at Home depot or somewhere similar.

I found a duplicolor grey at autozone that was close enough.

                        Hey Supe,

You ought to go with some bright color for flash since your Jeep is that plain old no-color white. Maybe magenta? or pink

                        see ya,

Before I knew it was you, I read your post and felt like I knoew you already! Welcome to the Dark Side! Glad you are here.

I was actually thinking of painting them blue, I like the whole White and blue thing. But I am sure they will paint them selves brown with mud and dirt.

I painted my UCA's, LCA's, springs, trackbar, and Currie steering system all red. I like the look of it with the light khacki of my Jeep. When I did it I had to sand it to rough it up a bit, primer it then paint it with 3 coats of red. Check it out the next time you see me.
