Yup you move the left swaybar mount on the axle back and up a bit. The right one might rub a little or be in need of a bit of grinding. It does not affect the draglink at all, you only move the tierod up on top of the steering arm. On mine it seemed to have eliminated the little bit of bump steer it had.

Cool. Alright, I'm going to start saving my pennies for the upgrade. I appreciate all the advice. Thanks everyone.

Have you considered the Off Road Only "U-Turn" set-up?

About the only other thing worth considering is the Terra low high steer knuckle I think and then make your own rods. Still the currie setuo is hard to beat. It's pretty tough, even if you bend the tierod it will not buckle drove mine for a year and a half with a bend in it. Bashed it on many a rock never let me down

I've got a brand new Teraflex aluminum tie rod that I would like to sell to you and I'm willing to consider any reasonable price. http://www.myjeeprocks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=15140

I bought the high-steer kit a while back and the tie rod doesn't work with leaf springs....

You're not a very good salesman that's why... I was interested until you told me about all the problems you had with it! I guess if it's not a daily driven Jeep, it wouldn't be so bad...

Hey Paul! When are we going wheelin' again? I haven't seen you since the Meet'n'Greet run through Bullfrog.

The tie rod is interesting, but I need a drag link too. Let me think about it and do a little more homework. I'm leaning towards the Currie still, but I change my mind often.

You could just buy the currie drag link, they will sell that separately

Thanks for asking! I miss not wheelin' - I have been wheelin' vicariously through you guys.
I haven't been out in a while because of being unemployed, and then starting a small auto parts company up again in August, raising 3 kids. Pop Warner Football & Cheer takes ALL of my spare time from August to October. I have learned to give up on wheelin' for those three months.
I will definitely let you know when we can get out with you guys again! My wife thought you guys were nice - which says a lot about you two - she's fairly choosy.

I have the ORO U-Turn system on my 2005 LJ. it was installed by the previous owner so I have nothing to compare it to. My turning radius seems fine considering it's running 35" tires on spacers and 5" of lift.

Kurt says his ORO install was very unstable on the road. I don't think I have that issue, but I do have persistent vibration issues at 55mph that tire balancing and alignment
efforts have not resolved, so it makes me wonder...

Nathan have you considered that the u joints in the front axle shafts could be bad?

Sure it's possible, but I don't really know how to tell. I had John at All4Wheel look it over before I went on the Rubicon in August, and he said I was good to go. Only 13,000 miles on the rig as of today.

It does not take all that much with 35" tires to damage the front yokes on the shafts tool me about 2 wheeling trips. Turn the front drive shaft and watch the u joints by the wheels for any movoement
