Try it without the sye drop the transfer case and raise the engine if it works you saved 500 bucks if it doesn;t oh well join the club and spend more coin
On most 4" lifts you fo not need the drop pitman arm
That is whu some lifts don't come with one.
Also it's a bit of work to change the pitman arm unless you have the right tools

Your going to want to go to the fixed yoke kit and driveshaft eventually, so start puttin money in a jar. You can do the work yourself, there are some on this board that will help you if you want. The fixed yoke kits out there do a few things for your jeep, they keep yer skidplate up where it belongs, they strenghten your T-case output, they remove driveline vibration by allowing better angles with a longer rear driveshaft, and they allow you to remove your rear driveshaft so you can drive home on the front axle in 4wd in the rare case that you FUBAR the rear driveline. (Yeah, I have done it, and seen it done a few times) :2::gun: my rifle is not illegal, it's just undocumented... :gun:

I just helped my buddy put in a 2-2.5" ProComp lift, and his had the vibration. We made a TC drop from 1"x2" steel tube and it worked. This whole thing only took like 2 hour's and I have a torn shoulder.Good luck, hope it works for your's. I agree with what Kodiak says, your going to want a SYE kit so save up.
Art,Thanks for the tip on the Pitman arm,my buddy wanted me to ask about thatDennis and Tammy
Its as much fun getting dirty as it is being dirty in a Jeep!

The regular SYE kit comes with a new output shaft which is shorter, so it is about the same end-result as the hack-n-tap. Most people go with the regular SYE kit because it comes with an "heavy duty" output shaft, and you don't have to worry about having your cut and drill/tap perfectly centered and clean.
I run a regular SYE with the HD output shaft because I read a lot of bad things about the hack-n-tap, although it's all from people who have never run it. Kind-of like when people trash talk ARBs without ever running one. Maybe those people just want to justify the extra money they spent on the full SYE. I know Allen (swbooking) run the hack-n-tap and he wheels his heap.If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

My little brother runs the Hack N' Tap on his ZJ, my roommate ran it on his YJ, I run it on my XJ, and we've all wheeled pretty hard and never had a problem with it. I know lots of people that have had it and i have yet to see one fail.
Some people dont think they are reliable but like ive said ive never seen one with a problem.|90 XJ|4.0|AX-15|NP231|RE H&T|TnT Y-Link|RE Coils|BOR Leaves|ACOS|D30/Aussie|8.8/ARB|35" Kevlar MTRs|Custom Exo,Sliders,Bumpers|

I did my SYE kit myself, its no big deal. What year is yer wrangler? I'm in Helendale, we can handle that sometime in the next few weeks, but not this next weekend... when do you think you want to do the werk? it only takes a few hours if you really get at it. you need to find a kit that comes with gaskets, and you'll need some gasket maker or a gasket for the T-case and new oil for the T-case. You can do the SYE and driveshft before you do the lift if you want, so you dont have to do it all in one day. My SYE wasn't the Hack 'n tap, but I'm sure I can do it...:gun: my rifle is not illegal, it's just undocumented... :gun:
