What's up? You starting a YJ flex-a-thon? OK..... No sway bars, JKS telescoping track bar in front, no track bar in the rear.

Anyone running RE 4.5" YJ kit without extended bump stops? I'm running mine with bump stops and I'm thinking about ditching them.

I'm not running the RE 4.5", but I'm re-installing my bump stops as soon as I can. The bottom of my Bilstiens are taking a beating and I don't want to have to replace them any time soon. In fact, I need a set of extended bump stops.

                      Sebastian,

I still have stock bump stops with my RE 4.5" lift. Never a problem, unless thats why my shackle goes back parallel to the frame! Keep on flexing!

                      Scott,

I noticed that Dan's shackles don't move either. Hmmmm

Yea Mitch, I don't know why that is, maybe a difference in shackles or springs. May be time to call Warrior Products and find out why?! All I know is, I've never had mine buckle up under to the frame like yours did!

Mitch the issue you are dealing with is "shackle kickback." Several companies make anti-kickback shackles to alleviate this problem. Leef sprung jeeps that run extremely uneven and rocky terrain are prone to this problem. I am using an anti-kickback shackle in the front on my CJ.
