ok so ive rebuilt the top half of the engine. as soon as i finished, the brake lines burst,then the the new thermastat faild,then the pickups on the back of the stereo burned out, now my winch is frozen.
can someone tell me how to fix the winch if the clutch is frozen?

I would take whatever housing you can off, try to manually move it around and see where its caught up at. If that doesnt work and its new, take it bad to the store. If not, take it apart, clean it up and slap it back together. Thats worked for me more than once.
