^^ yea I was thinking about a 4 inch lift. My dad is a pipe fitter/mechanic/ boat mechanic, and my uncle bought a jeep with him for my cousin, and he picked it up and checked it out, so he knows whats up. I just heard about 5 minutes ago that my mom got in a little car accident this morning with some ice, a hill, and a sign. She has a 4 runner, said it wasn't to bad, but that will probably put a damper on me getting my car. Yea next time we go to 7/11 im gonna pick up one of the local car trader magazine thingys. About the cold, my moms 4 runner is the same way, its always super cold when we get in, and on Saturday morning after leaving the windows open and it snowing about a inch in my friends yj, it was cold, but warmed up. If thats not what you mean then whatever lol. And the same kid said that jeep parts for his yj are so cheap, its a 1995, but he paid 6 grand, I told my mom and she said that was alot for a older jeep with 130,000, but it still looks nice.

But just f.y.i, jeeping is an addiction just like any other, you'll lose all your money, lose some friends, but make new ones with other jeep junkies, and you'll never be able to think about anything else but your next mod again!
      have fun!

i was running 35s... then my friend gave me a sweet deal on some 38s(5 for 800 and they were almost brand new) so now i got the itch to put them on.. so now they are on.. now i have to buy a lower transfer case gearing(teralow) and cromoly axle shafts so i dont break any shafts.. expensive... but well worth it.. i gained an inch and a half ground clearence...

make sure you research everything before you decide.. if you go 4 in lift.. you will need a SYE and a CV drive shaft.. so if you are on a buget.. stay with a 3.5 and 31s.. you can use a t-case drop kit to help with the driveline angles.. and if you stay with 31s. then you dont really need to regear or axle swap... so research alot and do it right the first time...

                            Sounds Like A Good Deal

If You Are Just Looking For Some Fun And A Good Ride Go For It ...the Inline 6 Will Run Forever And It Is Plenty Of Power To Run 33's ...basically A Jeep Is A Direct Reflection Of It Owner...and If You Not Looking For Something To Work On Then Go For It ...me I Have A 1962 Cj-5 And I Love It ...i Love Working On It And Playing In It, For Me It Is Great Far Better Then The 1989 Wrangler I Had Because I Dont Have To Pass Emmisions Ever ...so That Just Mean I Can Do What Ever I Want To It ..

My 92' YJ had a four inch http://roughcountry.com/ lift on it, kit came with a t-case drop kit, and cost me about 600 bucks. With the t-case drop kit I didn't have any drive line vibrations and it looked pretty good even on the stock tires and rims. If you do end up getting a four cylinder and you want to run 33's, plan on regearing. The jeep will dog so bad on any hill, you won't be able to stand it. But, if you get a 4.0, you'll be able to pull it off.

There are so many combinations you can do to get the lift and tire size you want, from suspension lift, to body lift, to spacer lifts for TJ's, but yeah, you can do it for pretty cheap.

And about rough country's 4 inch kit for a YJ, it worked great once we got it on, but it took some fabing and extra parts to get it together. If you want it, plan on using your imagination to make it work haha.
