I need to get beadlocks 'cos breaking beads sucks.

I am considering the following, any opinions? Advantages, disadvantages etc...

    American Racing, forged alum w/Staun internal $120 + $189 = $309

    Allied rockathons, steel $178

    Rockmonster, forged alum, internal $380

USA 6X6 civilian, steel, internal $242

    Any others worthy of mention?

    Cheers

Many people around here (myself included) have had excellent luck with Champion Beadlocks.

Just to add more confusion... my stauns have been great. :yay:

I'd get a beadlock that locks both inner and outer bead regardless of which brand. :2:

Oh, and I'd stay away from steel but that's just me.

or you could go the route I went and get a weld on kit. Got mine from Great Lakes Offroad over on POR. I love em. just welded em on to my AR 767s that I've had and been running for years

they are heavy, but unsprung weight is good in this sport

Brice you've seen me working to re-mount a tire after blowing an axle shaft. steel bead locks are indeed heavy.

So what's the consensus on a beadlock wheel like Champion Beadlock vs. Stauns? Oops, I doubt there IS a consensus on that debate.

Put it to a vote, that graph thing is always cool. I have to put my vote in for Allied, cuz I got'em cheap!

I have no idea how to create a vote thingy and I'm to lazy to figure it out.

I decided to go with Allied Rockathons. I really wanted alum w/internal but the price was prohibitive.

Where did you get the Allieds at? I think I paid 167 for mine from a shop in AZ, then added 20 each for shipping. Don't recall where in AZ they are, and it is probably too late anyway:
