  • What year and/or model is my jeep?

Ok this is an extremely stupid question because I dont know much about jeeps...
I dont know what year or model my jeep is? lol
    It is vintage
The metal identification plate is on the "DRIVERS" side of the engine side of the firewall...
    Its a Willys
I bieleve it might be a CJ-3B but it says here
(www.off-road.com/jeep/tech/cj-3b.htm) that the plate is on the passenger side...

I WAS WONDERING IF ANY KNOWLEDGABLE VINTAGE JEEP OWNERS WOULD
ASK ME SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY JEEP SO THAT I CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS?

whatever it is its pretty sweet. good find, rare vehicle. keep it in the garage. for what my :2: are worth, check the link below. i know its not very informative regarding technical descriptions and different specs by year but at least it may help you weed out which jeep you DON'T have...

Youre description isnt detailed enough to decide what you have.

Post up more info or better yet, a picture.

Im thinking that he meant "run the vin number". It should tell you what year it is

don't worry we all feel that way at one time or another:smile: if you like pm me the Vin and i will run it on Tuesday. if the Vin is 17 # the 10Th digit is the year, but most likely you will have 9 or less digits good luck!
