  • Wheel Spacers

I'm currently running some 31 " tires on my 1974 CJ-5. I get some tire rubbing going on against the inside of the tire and body. I would like to go with some 33" tires but the rubbing would be worse. I was wondering if anyone knew how many inches I would need on wheel spacers to clear the inside of the tire and body to prevent rubbing.
    thanks,
    Dave

It depends on what back-spacing you have on the rims...also what size tire..10.5 or 12.5 wide...it sounds like a 2" spacer should work for you.

      Thanks for the reply.
I was thinking of going with the 33x12.50x15's
