sway bar

does anyone know if a sway bar for a cj and a yj are the same? or if they can be interchanged with minor mods?

to answer your original question i believe there's a 3 or so inch difference in width dependant on year....

As for even running them, I've not run them on my YJ for 4 or so years, But then I run a really light rig with a spring under. The stiffer CJ springs on a CJ make the front end even less prone to sway.

On the street coil spring or spring over i'd run them. Off road disconnect them, I've heard all the reasons for running, especially the light weight torsion bar (Currie) style ones but in the end I'd leave them for those fast desert roads, or your prerunner.
