So I have had this problem for awhile. Before it was just an annoyance but when putting on the RE 4.5 coil springs it has gotten a lot worse.
When letting off the throttle quickly, my Jeep feels as if it shifts to the right then back to the left. It does not seems to actually steer that way.
I was told to check for cracked control arm mounts, ensure the track bar is nice and tight and inspect the sway bar.
Control arm mounts look good, nothing broken/cracked. Trackbar is nice and tight. Sway bar looks okay but no idea what I am looking for there other than the obvious.
Alignment is a little off, nothing major and one of the tires is out of balance not bad but it causes some vibes when going over 65.
98 TJ I6, D44 front/rear, RE 4.5 SF SA on 33 BFG MTs. Steering is custom crossover (not hi-steer, not inverted t) using WJ knuckles. No steering stabilizer.
Any suggestions?
