SOCAL people where can i get CB fixed

like the title says, anyone ever broke ther CB and got it fixed? my CB and radio are both next to each other adn have the same connectors and neither of them wants to turn on? can anyone help?

Since neither radio turns on, the CB itself is probably not bad. I'd be looking for a blown fuse or a wiring problem.

yeah i gonna have to check, cuz suddenly out of nowhere neither of them would turn on

I would start at the fuse box, from there follow the wiring to see if you have a place that both are using the same fuse..

I agree that it sounds like you've got a bad fuse or you power connection has a problem, but to answer your question the only CB shop I know of is called Electronic Times in Fountain Valley off the 405 at Magnolia.

They are hard core CB geeks, but can be rude and pricey - as an FYI.

I do not recommend this place anymore as Bill is gone> RIP.

His son is there sometimes and is quite the colorful character. :confused:
It is usually better to buy a new one as it has been my experince once you have problems it is real tuff to get fixed.
