  • Boot stopping 4-WD engagement.

My boot was sheet metal screwd into the body at a bad angle preventing me from locking into 4-wd. I took the boot off and it locks fine......does this sound logical to you guys???

Did you do a body lift or something? Easy for the boot to prevent the full range of motion if the body to t-case distances have changed from stock

Is there a gap between the t-case skid plate and the frame? Spacers of any kind in there? If so you have a t-case drop kit to keep the stock driveline angles, which can cause this issue.
