All I will say
www.peopleofwalmart.com
Don't be that person!!
BFG all terrains are one of the absolute best all around tire you can find.. They take punishment they stick off road and even they clean out ok for mud too..I wouldn't Mud bog them over a good MT but they'll get you there if you ever decide to show a cute girl a good trail..you'll get there.. and only get stuck if you want too
you can find them cheap and the difference of 40 dollars for 4 all new tires well worth the 20k extra miles you'll get. OR get some craigslist specials while you save up for what you want.Sarcasm is my body's natural response to stupid.

I'm still pricing tires. For the BFG KO"s
Americas tire in Hesperia will not match the online price. No way, no how ain't happenin. I tried 2x, even got a call from the store manager. They are $158 ea.
He said he may be able to match WM on the balance and road hazzard but he wanted to see their prices first.
The Americas tire in Victorville will match the online price of $140. He said that he won't touch the WM price on the mounting and road hazzard because they are not the exact same tire.
I looked at the Goodyear tires @ WM again. They really look like they would work well off road.
The flyer next to them says that the have puncture resistant sidewalls or something to that effect.
I asked the goon at the tire desk about the road hazzard and he said that it does not cover sidewall damage!
Lotta good that does.
WM will not mount them on my Jeep. I must remove the wheels and bring them in then take them back home.
I'm still on the lookout for the BFG's on sale I guess.Last edited by chris142; 05-30-10, 08:54 PM.

You didn't jump on that craiglist deal I posted for $175? I think its still availiable and it comes with aluminum wheels. Thats a little more than what you will pay for 1 tire mounted and balanced from anyone. Yea they are used but its sounds like your looking for a bargain and dont have the coin right now to pay full price anyway. Its the deal of the century if they truly have 75% on them. Atleast call.Last edited by Jeeperator; 05-31-10, 10:53 AM.

Well shoot. I went to the Americas Tire in Victorville to have them sell me some BFG KO's. I got them talked down to $141ea. I brought a competitors add in with me.
Did all that then they found out that they didn't have them in stock. Said that they could have them tomorrow. I really didn't want to make a 2nd trip there down Bear Valley rd @5pm tomorrow.
I ended up with their Pathfinder tires that look like the BFG but with out the extra tough sidewalls so I bought the road hazzard warranty.
I got them to knock some $ off of those. $340 for 2 tires mounted, balanced, stems and the road hazzard.
